ABOUT WHAT WE OFFER . . .

EARLY DROP OFF  Students have free time and get to play games. Our early drop off is a free service we offer!

CAPOEIRA FUNDAMENTALS Campers train the basics of Capoeira and get to play with their peers! This provides great exercise at the start of their day!

ACROBATICS AND TUMBLING   Your child will learn really cool acrobatic moves in a safe and controlled environment. No matter how novice or advanced each child is, we break down each acrobatic movement into achievable skills, keeping everyone feeling successful and safe!

MUSIC   The music in Capoeira is what distinguishes Capoeira from all other martial arts.  Your child will learn songs, rhythms, and how to play fun Brazilian percussion instruments. Studies show that children who learn music activate the attention system of the brain which has overall gains in other academic areas.

LANGUAGE IMMERSION Students learn Portuguese through fun games and activities! These games help them develop the skills to acquire other languages as well! We use a Total Physical Response method, which helps embody and react to a new language.

ARTS AND CRAFTS  Thematic arts and crafts lessons practice new skills in the context of Capoeira Culture and Lore. We will be creating original work inspired by Brazilian artists, Capoeira Stories and crafts that are practical to the game of capoeira.
