YOGA WITH AVIANA

Everyother Sunday 9-10:15AM and Thursday 7-8:15PM

avi-photo.jpg

This class aims to be an inclusive and holistic yoga class that invites participants to explore and honor the many aspects of yoga practice. The intention of this class is to transcend the boundaries of a Westernized fitness-focused approach to yoga. Aviana's ambition is to co-create a space where participants are invited to embark on a comprehensive exploration of a practice that encompasses yogic philosophy, postures, breathwork, and meditation. The class will seek to create agency in cultivating a sustainable practice that extends beyond the mat, by embracing the roots of yoga. A sustainable yoga practice can empower individuals to navigate life's challenges with mindfulness and resilience, while enriching their everyday lives and fostering well-being. Please, come as you are.

Aviana has been practicing yoga over the past 13 years and is newer to leading classes.
-Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT® 200). The Lotus Pond Center for Yoga and Health.
- Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) 300hr. Ignite Institute for Yogic Leadership and Social Change.

While a suggested donation of $5-$20 supports the class, no one is turned away due to financial constraints.

For any questions, please don’t hesitate to email Aviana at avi.urdiales@gmail.com or send a text to 813.360.3216.

WHO WE ARE

We are a group of artists, teachers, dancers and healers. We have established our group, Movement Arts of Chico as a non-profit organization in January of 2022. All of our endeavors at the MA go directly into maintaining and running our beautiful downtown location. Our mission is simple: to support the growing arts culture in Chico. We do this by organizing art shows, music, film and dance events and hosting a variety of classes. We aim to create greater accessibility of the arts, especially or youth in our community.
